Qld Birth, Deaths and Marriages Registration Bill Submission

Everyone deserves to be recognised for who they are. The Queensland Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Bill 2022 removes cruel and unnecessary obstacles that prevent trans and gender diverse people from updating their legal gender, and in doing so, follows reforms that have been implemented in almost every other jurisdiction in Australia. We recommend its passage into law.
