NSW Equality Bill – Explainer

Everyone deserves to live with dignity and respect under the law.

After an extensive legal audit and community consultation, Equality Australia identified over 500 NSW laws that disadvantage or discriminate against LGBTIQA+ people.

The LGBTIQA+ Equality Bill would fix some of these gaps in our laws in one go. But we need it to pass into law before it can start changing lives.
