Every Territorian deserves to live, study and work with dignity and respect. 

The Country Liberal Party Government plans to repeal vital protections against hate speech and reinstate an exemption that permits discrimination in religious education. 

The proposed changes to the Anti-Discrimination Act will wind back the rights of Territorians and undermine recent gains, leaving vulnerable communities exposed to discrimination and vilification. 

With anti-LGBTIQ+ hate increasing around the country, it’s crucial that we have proper protection from the harm that hate causes.

And teachers and other workers should not face unfair discrimination in religious schools simply because of who they are or who they love.
