Children deserve the emotional and financial security that comes with the legal recognition of their families.

Currently, children may be denied rights and entitlements because their parents are not legally recognised. This particularly affects children born via surrogacy arrangements and co-parenting arrangements – arrangements that are common in LGBTIQ+ families.
